Health unit to modify mask requirements

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) will ease masking guidelines at its facilities next week.
Starting Monday, the health unit will no longer require COVID-19 screening or mask use at its facilities in Windsor and Leamington. However, visitors will still be asked to consider masking up on the premises.

Dawson Creek & District Hospital has the highest rate of hospital deaths after major surgery in Northern Health at 5.3 per cent, while the University Hospital of Northern BC located in Prince George has a rate of 3.6 per cent.

Canadians losing confidence in free health care: Poll
Canadians are reportedly losing faith in the public health care system, years after the pandemic ravaged hospitals and shuttered emergency rooms, a new survey suggests.
