A majority of Americans with health insurance said they had encountered obstacles to coverage, including denied medical care, higher bills and a dearth of doctors in their plans, according to a new survey from KFF, a nonprofit health research group. As a result, some people are delayed or skipped treatment.
Those who were most likely to need medical care — people who described themselves as in fair or poor health — reported more trouble; three-fourths of those receiving mental health treatment experienced problems.

TOP RED LIGHT FACE MASK BENEFITS
Enhanced Collagen Production: One of the primary benefits of red light face masks is their ability to stimulate collagen production. Collagen, a protein responsible for maintaining skin elasticity, tends to diminish with age, leading to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. The following five-part article series shares the perspective of a scholar in the field of sports disability who has his own physical limitations. In…
England’s health service says it won’t give puberty blockers to children at gender clinics
LONDON — The publicly funded health service in England has decided it will not routinely offer puberty-blocking drugs to children at gender identity clinics, saying more evidence is needed about the potential benefits and harms.
The National Health Service said Friday that “outside of a research setting, puberty-suppressing hormones should not be routinely commissioned for children and adolescents.”
People under 18 can still be given puberty blockers in exceptional circumstances, the NHS says, and a clinical study on their impact on kids is due to start by next year.
Four new regional clinics are due to open later this year.…
Health and travel insurance for international students
Between applying to schools and sorting out travel visas and accommodations, moving to Canada as an international student can be quite daunting — especially once you start considering medical and travel insurance.
