Due to fast industrialisation, at present China is undergoing a process of reform, no less than by method of economic, if not social and political, rights. A new contract code in 1999 represented a transfer away from administrative domination. Furthermore, after negotiations lasting fifteen years, in 2001 China joined the World Trade Organization. The Law School’s strategy to legal schooling has at all times been anchored in its unwavering commitment to pro bono service.
