Benefits of Saunas after Workouts
Saunas are wonderful for many reasons but in this post I want to focus on sauna benefits for those of you working out.
Before I jump into the benefits of saunas after workouts, I want all of you to understand that more is not always better. Be careful when doing saunas after workouts. Limit sauna time to no longer than 20 minutes to avoid over-exerting your body. If you have never used a sauna before or are new to saunas, start with shorter periods of time. Listen to your body, it will tell you if you’re spending too long in…

Veto puts Kentucky in thick of fight over transgender rights
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s veto of a bill aimed at transgender health care puts the state in the middle of a national fight, but with more immediate consequences as the state’s looming election offers an early test on the state-by-state assault on gender-affirming care for minors.
The veto issued Friday set off competing messages likely to be repeated until the November election — when Bluegrass State voters will decide whether to reward the Democratic governor with a second term or hand over the governor’s office to a Republican. No one seems to know yet how much…

The Ministry of Health later confirmed the decision and end date.
OMA PresidentDr. Rose Zacharias said her organization, which represents the province’s doctors, is “extremely concerned” about the…
A Perceived Philosophical Conflict – PHE America
I am the only female in my high school PE department. It’s been this way for 20 years. The one time another female came in she tried to out-alpha the football coach and got removed from teaching PE and placed in Health. I think she might have taught one section of PE in the two years she was here, and I think it was Adapted PE. Since we’ve had a fully working weight room, it was always paired with the football coach. We got a new one this year, the fifth in my tenure working at this same high school.…

What Are Smart Beta ETFs?
The ETF industry has traditionally been dominated by products based on market capitalization weighted indexes that are designed to represent the market or a particular segment of the market.
Because market cap weighted indexes provide a low-cost, convenient, and transparent way of replicating market returns, they work well for investors who believe in market efficiency.
However, some investors believe…
