You’ve almost certainly heard of the Mediterranean diet and the MyPlate method, but what about Harvard University’s Healthy Eating Plate?

How To Overcome Jet Lag
Are you preparing for a vacation and traveling by plane? There are ways to shield your body against jet lag and overcome it, reducing the symptoms that can ruin your vacation.

Six Healthy Lifestyle Habits Linked to Slowed Memory Decline
Adhering to six healthy lifestyle behaviors is linked to slower memory decline in older adults, a large, population-based study suggests.

After adjusting for health and socioeconomic factors, investigators found that each individual’s healthy behavior was associated with a slower-than-average decline in memory over a decade. A healthy diet emerged as the strongest deterrent, followed by cognitive activity and physical exercise.
“A healthy lifestyle is associated with slower memory decline, even in the…

The composite cardiovascular health score measured using the aforementioned…
7 Ways to Follow the Mediterranean Diet
Named one of the healthiest diets in the world for six years in a row, the Mediterranean diet is abundant in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and healthy fats. It features fish and poultry—lean protein sources—over red meat. Red wine is consumed regularly but in moderate amounts.
Research suggests that the benefits of this eating pattern are many: improved outcomes for intentional weight loss, better management of blood glucose (sugar) levels and reduced risk of cognitive decline, to name a few. The Mediterranean diet has also been associated with reduced levels of inflammation, a risk factor for heart attacks, strokes…
