Jun. 24—MASSENA — Town of Massena retirees say they’re happy with a new health insurance plan that will kick in on Jan. 1.

Further financial pressure is being heaped on hard-pressed families with the news that another health insurer has hiked its prices.
Irish Life Health announced yesterday it was upping its premiums by 5% from July this year, its second increase in the past six months, adding an extra €400 on average to bills.

Galician pet tech firm Barkibu has raised $5 million in a new funding round. Offering both pet insurance and a preventive services app, naturally complete with an AI-powered component, Barkibu intends to use the new funds to further improve and expand its services.
